Produced for DAZN/FIFA during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, this project followed FC Salzburg across its tournament journey in the USA - from the team’s New York City base to match locations in Cincinnati, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. Built around a very small core team, the work combined journalistic and documentary coverage across team interviews, match reporting, previews and more in-depth content.
The objective was to follow FC Salzburg’s tournament journey in a way that felt both editorially sharp and closely connected to the team’s day-to-day reality - capturing not only the sporting narrative of the competition, but also the atmosphere, pressure and emotions around it.
Produced in close editorial exchange with host broadcaster DAZN, the collaboration demanded a high degree of flexibility and reliable execution under the fast-moving conditions of an international summer tournament.
